ECOPARTNERS was founded with a vision to fundamentally change the way we think about sustainable housing by empowering low to middle income home owners to implement green energy technologies.
The mission of ECOPARTNERS is to support the development of clean energy technology, which can reduce energy use and create new green jobs. This will be implemented through direct services, participatory dialogue, research and public awareness.
ECOPARTNERS is devoted to helping Illinois find smart solutions for the built environment. Believing that green building just makes good sense, we are dedicated to the integration of environmentally responsible, energy efficient green building practices into both the retrofit market and the design, construction, and operation of new buildings throughout Illinois.
ECOPARTNERS is an organization that is dedicated to professionalism and consists of qualified and experienced staff and volunteers who possess the resources and commitment to demonstrate a shared conviction that our built environment can improve the health of our planet, our economy and our communities.
Driving its mission to transform the housing paradigm, Ecopartners provides a robust and diverse slate of educational offerings, consultation, and resources to low and middle income building owners and developers, which help guide them through the technical and financial aspects of going green. This not only reduces costs, but also creates new green jobs and has the potential to revitalize a community.
As a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, Ecopartners will deliver solutions that significantly contribute to the goals of sustainable design and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification, a voluntary standard for developing environmentally responsible, low emission, high-performance, sustainable buildings.
