About

History

ECOPARTNERS was founded by Daria Mileva and received its articles of incorporation as a nonprofit in Illinois on October 23, 2008.  Ms. Mileva has a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago.  The board of directors consisted of an architect, Ade Onayemi, a senior electrical engineer William Kahle, and a senior mechanical engineer Sam Jacob.

Ecopartners is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, enabling Ecopartners to deliver solutions that significantly contribute to the goals of sustainable design and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)  certification, a voluntary standard for developing environmentally responsible, low-emission, high-performance, sustainable buildings.

Since its inception, Ecopartners has initiated a number of new efforts as a means of laying the groundwork for the successful launch of environmental sustainability projects. These new efforts are designed to strengthen organizational operations and enhance the organization’s ability to offer high-quality services. Additionally, Ecopartners has developed a broad range of brochures and a new website.
